“AUM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI ”
At the beginning I show my respect to one God, Supreme of all Supreme. I
show my respect to all the enlightened Masters of the past. I show my respect
to all the Master and Teacher of Peace, who are carrying the light of peace and
dedicated their life for that. And I am showing my respect to all the heroes of
the future, who will discover themselves and will become enlightened.
In our life, in our search for knowledge, we go to school when we`re small. Then we go to college and university, and after reading bundles of books we end up thinking that we are knowledgeable, but collecting information from books is not knowledge. Collecting papers and putting them inside our heads is not knowledge. It cannot be knowledge. Knowledge is much deeper than that. If we only collect information and love is not growing along side that, it is just like a person who has one leg growing longer and longer and the other leg is not growing at all. What would it look like?
It would be just like the person that works without love, without experience, only collecting information. If mind is only collecting information without experience, without love, then the soul becomes suffocated. Life becomes meaningless.
Knowledge is something we have to experience moment by moment. Our schools, our colleges and our universities make our hearts dry. They use our heads like an information rubbish bin. When the head becomes too heavy and the heart is dry, it is like a paper flower; it looks very beautiful but it has no life, no fragrance. That sort of knowledge has shape and color but no beauty.
